The floors are now covered in carpet and vinyl. Carpet in the sitting room, and on the stairs, and vinyl in the kitchen/dining room, hall, and the bathroom. The bedrooms are to be varnished with added rugs. So, things are looking much more complete all of a sudden. All that took place yesterday.

Today was paint a bedroom day. Also a number of paintings for hanging were brought down from Louth. The heating seems very efficient. At this rate I might even get to stay there again myself a few days, just like old times, before the first guests arrive for their holiday.

Even managed to fit in a visit to Matts Bakery in Spilsby which comes highly recommended.

There are two or three internal lights to connect and a replacement for the perfectly hideous external light over the front door.

Despite the cold and wet spring, and human neglect some flowers bloom normally.
